Say Hello to Our Little "Peeps"

As an adult I have found Peeps to be too sweet! Now I have finally found a fun way to have them around the house....this was fun for the kids and Mom! Super easy and will make great gifts for Easter for the close family and friends.....

What you need:
  1. Cute flower pots - I found mine at dollar store - 2 for a buck
  2. Some easter grass (left over from last year's baskets will do)
  3. Dowel or sturdy branches from outside
  4. Paper plates - I had some dessert sized plates that were pretty thick
  5. 2- packages of 5 Peeps each (this is enough for just one flower
  6. Glue gun
  7. Ribbon
  8. Duct tape

Unwrap the peeps - DONT PULL APART THE PEEPS!
Put the peeps around the edge of the plate so you can see how much you will need to trim
Trim the plates to size.
Glue the first group of five down to plate - shape it so its circular
Add the second group of peeps around the remaining half of the plate
Let dry about 10 minutes
Tape the end of branch or dowel to the back of plate
Stick branch in flower pot - I did put a good size rock in bottom of flower pot for balance
Add grass
Have kids color the center
Maybe a ribbon or something on the "stem"
done!
